Sony has announced the new range of it’s Walkman MP3 players, the W-series.The company has revealed the first model in the series, NWZ-W202.
One can see from the picture itself that the device is simple, lightweight (35gm), easy to use and handle.You can even carry it to a gym for listening to music while working out.You don’t have to worry about those strangling wires in some older walkman devices.the device is flexible to fit to your head size.
The W202 is designed with two earphone pieces to be linked together by a flexible plastic tube which plays a vital role for music play and control. It also features the new Zappin feature that lets you listen to few seconds of a song for you to identify it.Although the device is simple Sony has paid attention to it’s durability.The Walkman can remain intact in an accidental drop from your hand.The W202 is available in five color variants.Sony is planning to sell some 1.8 lakh Walkman players in India by 2010.
