Logitec Japan Unveils new external HDD

Japan based company Logitec has unveiled its latest external HDD that offers a storage upto 1.5TB. The HDD named LHD-EN500U2L comes in three storage capacities 500GB, 1TB and 1.5TB.

Logitec calls this External drive Eco-Friendly that comes with a Power saving feature. The HDD will be automatically turned off if the drive is left inactive for a minute. Appropriate software is needed in the PC to activate the Power saving feature and control the time.

The HDD has got dimensions 35mm x 183mm x 120mm.It is based on air-flow architecture that seems to enable efficient heat distribution. The device comes at a price of around 220€ in Japan.
