Virgin Mobile has launched it’s internet connectivity device named vLink. Priced at Rs.2100, vLink is the first data device that acts as both a CDMA USB modem as well as a 1 GB data storage device. Additionally, the device comes with all the drivers, so no CD installation is required. It offers users surf speeds of up to 153 kbps.
vLink comes with a starter kit of Rs.99, which includes free unlimited promotional data usage time for 30 days. The vLink is available in two tariff plans:

1. The Rs.801 monthly plan that provides users unlimited data usage per month and
2. The Rs.349 monthly plan whose usage rates are 25p/min from 8 am-10 pm and 13p/min from 10 pm-8 am, which gets deducted from the Rs.349 users pay per month. This plan also offers users the benefit of rolling over unutilized balance to the next month making it the first unutilized balance roll over facility for data usage in the Indian market.
