Optima Announced New Mobile Internet Device


Optima,a Chinese technological company has launched a new mobile internet device named OP5-E MID.The device is powered by the Maemo Mobile operating system which was previously used only by Nokia in their phones.

The OP5-E MID has got a 4.3 inch touchscreen with dimensions 143 mm x 74 mm x 17.6 mm and a weight of 300 grams.It is powered by an 806 MHz Marvell PXA320 processor..The device offers good connectivity with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.0.There is a 3.2 MP camera.The MID offers a battery backup of 8 hrs.

The Internet device is incooperated with numerous other features such as voice call functionality. Presently it supports VoIP calls but will also incorporate full calling and SMS functionality later.A microSD slot for up to 16GB cards is provided.
