D-Link Launches new wireless router


D-Link, a leading network solutions provider has launched its Wireless 150 Router DIR-600 based on draft 802.11n technology.An Installation Wizard CD-ROM, which makes it easy to set up your wireless network and Internet connection is included with the device.


The DIR-600 supports the latest wireless security such as WPA and WPA2 ensure the usage of the best. In addition, the DIR-600 utilizes dual active firewalls (SPI and NAT) to prevent potential attacks from across the Internet. Plus, the DIR-600 includes Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) with a push button feature that sets up and activates your network security functions.

The DIR-600 also automatically powers down ports that have no link, budgets power output for different Ethernet cable lengths and includes wireless LAN scheduling, which can shut down your wireless network when not in use for further power savings. It further reduces energy consumption by using an Energy Star qualified power adapter and it also complies with the European Union’s RoHS directive that restricts the use of certain hazardous materials.

The D-Link DIR-600 is now available in the market at an approximate street price of Rs. 2700 with three years warranty.
