Korean electronics gaint LG Electronics Inc is launching it’s online LG App store Today.The users can browse and download applications from this online Application store.The initial launch of today is in the countries Singapore, Australia and Malaysia.Worlwide launch will be there by the end of this year.
The LG App store is to offer over 1400 applications out of which almost 100 will be free.The Applications are available in 15 languages.By the end of this year the no of applications will be increased to 2000.LG and Samsung are late contenders in launching App store.Apple followed by other leading players has captured the smartphone market by launching App stores.By Launching their online App stores LG and Samsung hope they will be ready to catch up with other Smartphone Manfacturers in the market.
At present LG has not revealed any plans to launch it’s App Store in U.S.
