Gigabyte has introduced new Gigabyte A2 USB 3.0 stylish Portable Hard Drive. Gigabyte A2 portable hard drive comes with 2.5 inch of size with two different color schemes -  Pearl White and Charcoal Gray, and features USB 3.0 connectivity. Dimension of Gigabyte A2 are  113 x 76 x 14mm, it weights 136 grams, and has a fingerprint-proof and heat-resistant casing, an internal shock/vibration absorption mechanism and an activity LED. Gigabyte A2 USB 3.0 comes with three variants -  320GB, 500GB, 640GB and 750GB of capacities. zgigabyte USB hard drive weights 136g that supports Mac OS 9.x or above,Linux 2.4.1.0 or above,Windows ME/ 2000 /XP /VISTA /7 etc. Price of this new Gigabyte A2 is yet unknown.

LG reveals two new USB 3.0 portable hardrives LG XE1 and XE2. LG XE1 and XE2 look glossy with 2.5-inch portable hard drives which feature an USB 3.0 interface. Both LG XE1 and XE2 come in 500GB, 750GB and 1TB capacities, the same size and shape, but have a different finish - glossy on the XE1, matte on the XE2 come in black or white color. Released these new hardrives only on its home country South Korea at an expected cost of  $90 and $150.

Transcend unveils StoreJet 25H3P 1TB Hard Drive

Transcend unveils two new high capacity external hard drive, the StoreJet 25H3P using USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface, and the USB 2.0 StoreJet 25H2P both coming with 1TB storage capacity. Both storejet harddrives comes with a reinforced hardcasing in a robust shockproof case. According to the company, they have passed the rigorous U.S. military drop-test tests. Transcend StoreJet 25H3P is designed to offer up to 90MB/s transfer speed, USB 3 connection and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 ports. The USB 3.0 drive is priced at $205 while the StoreJet 25H2P costs $185.

Buffalo has announced new external hard drive, Buffalo HD-LBU2, comes with eco-manager feature that reduces power consumption. Intel has introduced Next Generation CULV chip to use 32nm tech

Intel has provide some information about its second generation Consumer Ultra Low Voltage platform(CULV)platform called Intel Celerom U3400,the dual core Arrandale 32nm-based chip will be rated at 1.06GHz and have an 18W Thermal Design Power.This is mainly mean for notebooks.The component used in this will have integerated 45nm graphics capable of being overclocked from 166MHz to 500MHz. The processor also has 2MB of cache and support for DDR3 800 memory.The Celeron U3400 is said to begin showing up in notebooks this fall. Unlike the Core i5 520UM, which has similar specs, the U3400 does not have 3MB of cache or a Turbo overclocking mode.

Samsung Launches 2.1 MP and 1.3MP CMOS image sensor with full High Defenition Support

Smasung has unveiled 2.1 MP and 1.3MP CMOS image sensor with high-definition support to webcams and cameras requiring video capture.Smasung 1.3MP (S5K6A1) and 2.1MP (S5K5B3) image sensors are specifically created to accommodate in thin LCD notebook panels without compromising on the capture quality.The imagers boast improved low-light sensitivity of 70Lux while the 2.1MP (S5K5B3) supports 1080p at 30fps whereas the 1.3MP (S5K6A1) supports 720p at 30fps. Additionally with the integration of enhanced depth of field (EDoF) function, the 2.1MP sensor is capable to read barcodes and business cards.

Samsung is currently sampling both the sensors while the mass production is slated for Q2 2010.
