Canon EOS 60D Digital SLR Camera- Features and Specifications

Canon has releases the new EOS series 60D digital camera, the new model comes in between the EOS 550D and the EOS 7D. Maruti Suzuki has launched its automatic variant with its new KB engine series debut with the Maruti Suzuki A-star in India. The Maruti Suzuki Astar, new variant A2 segment is priced at Rs 4.35 lakh ex showroom, Delhi.The Indian Automatic A-Star is going to get the same 4-speed auto transmission  was launched earlier and featured a new generation engine spelling fuel efficiency.



"The A-star automatic customer will be able to enjoy an enhanced 360 degree driving experience," the company said in a statement. "The 4-speed automatic transmission will help drivers glide effortlessly through city traffic, without gear shifts and also superior fuel efficiency of 17 km / litre." The A-star automatic is powered by Suzuki's 998cc K-series engine equipped with advanced A-shift technology.



The A-Star Automatic transmission will be available in VXi trim. It comes with Suzuki KB10 MPFI Petrol Engine with a displacement of 998cc, 3cylinder and 12 valve. The engine has a maximum power of 67 BHP@6200 RPM while maximum torque is 90NM @3500 RPM.



The automatic transmission of A-Star has six modes- P, R, N, D, 3, 2 and L. It has a fuel efficiency of 17 kmpl rated by Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI).

MySQL monitoring graph is not updating or blank in Munin

Munin is a network resource monitoring tool that can help to analyze and report back all kinds of server statistics. Munin is used to monitor the the performance of computers/servers, networks, SANs, applications, databases, weather measurements and other parameters.



To download and install Munin: click here



After successful installation, Munin will start colleting required data and will show you the graphs, including MySQL nodes such as MySQL throughputs, MySQL queries, MySQL Slow Queries, and MySQL threads. However, if you restart the server, Munin will fail to monitor MySQL nodes and it will stop showing graphs for MySQL.



Fix for Munin installed by cPanel/WHM



1. Find the path where mysqladmin is installed using one of the following commands:

The above command will return a path to mysqladmin (i.e. /usr/bin/mysqladmin)



2. Edit Munin configuration file /etc/munin/plugin-conf.d/cpanel.conf and modify the [mysql*] as below:

Ensure the env.mysqladmin value is path returned by step 1. Also ensure that /root/.my.cnf contains correct MySQL root password.



3. Restart Munin service:



/etc/init.d/munin-node restart



4. Wait a while for MySQL statistics to be gathered, and check the graphs again.



Fix for the host or server without cPanel Control Panel:



Simply add the “env.mysqladmin /usr/bin/mysqladmin” (ensure that the path is correct according to your system) to the /etc/munin/plugin-conf.d/munin-node file will do the trick.

Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS Is Available for Download

Mark Shuttleworth, father of the popular Ubuntu operating system, proudly announced a few minutes ago the name and the goals for the next version of Ubuntu. Yes, we are talking about Ubuntu 11.04, dubbed Natty Narwhal and scheduled for release on April 28th, 2011.



"Oh yes, it’s that time of year again, when numerate pollsters make nasal proclamations about the naming of the next next version of Ubuntu. When gazers of balls crystal provide nifty suggestions for new new features and, of course, suitable nomenclature to match."

Buffalo has introduces HD-LBU2 External Hard Drive

Buffalo has announced new external hard drive, Buffalo HD-LBU2, comes with eco-manager feature that reduces power consumption. Buffalo HD-LBU2 has dimensions of 39 x 123 x 189 mm and weight approximately 1 kg and 3.5 inch size which can be installed vertically and horizontally.It uses a USB 2.0 Interface and is also backward compatible with USB 1.1 as well.The drive will be available in four different configurations including a 500GB Version for $133, a 1TB for $169, 1.5TB for $219 and a 2TB Model for $269. They are all expected to hit store in mid-August.
