Skoda Fabia Sedan will be launched this Diwali

Skoda India, has now introducing Skoda Rapid Fabia Sedan model in the Indian markets, the new sedan model will be officially launch during Diwali. Skoda entered into the Indian market with its premium model Skoda Octavia. Sokoda launched Fabia premium hatchback in India in 2008. A major difference between the Rapid Fabia and the Octavia is that the former unlike the latter will not be a notchback but will be a Sedan akin to the Vento on account of its platform change. he Fabia sedan will likely be equipped with a 1.6 litre petrol engine. This new skoda Fabia sedan will be available at a price of Rs 6.5 lakhs.

Skoda Octavia 2011 for coming Moscow Auto Show

Skoda, a subsidiary of famous German automaker Volkswagen, is all set to release its new Skoda Octavia 2011. Skoda is set to showcase the new Skoda Octavia 2011 in Moscow Auto Show comes in the 28 th of this month. Along with the new Skoda Octavia, skoda is set to display it current portfolio cars including Sedan premium Laura and starting range sedan Skoda Fabia,Skoda Octavia RS, Skoda Octavia Combi Scout 4x4 and Skoda Roomster. The new Skoda Octavia 2011 is powered with 1.6L unit, available in disel as well as petrol version rail engine, 2.0 TDI CR DPF/103 kW that is going to replace the identically powerful 2.0 TDI PD. . The model is more likely to be the recent release volkswagen vento.

Meanwhile in India, the company is busy in the final preparations of the launch of its much awaited SUV Skoda Yeti which it had showcased at the Delhi International Auto Expo in the month of January 2010. It is expected that the Yeti model will be launched in the country by the end of this quarter along with a price tag of Rs 10 to 14 lakh. The Yeti model will be powered with a 2.0L diesel engine along with both two-wheel and for-wheel drive options.

Skoda Superb Estate Features and Image Gallery

Skoda introduces new Skoda Superb Estate at the FrankFurt Motor Show.The new skoda Estate replaces the liftback-saloon's innovative 'twindoor' split hatch with a sloping tailgate that makes the car look less frumpy than one would imagine and a new rear-end design boasting a pair of Cayenne-esque tail lamps.The Estate retains the same exact length, wheelbase and width with the conventional Superb, but because it is taller at the back it comes with a massive boot that can accommodate a whopping 633 liters of luggage (up to the height of the rear seat), an increase of 68 liters over the saloon model.

When the Estate goes on sale in Europe in the beginning of 2010, the line-up will comprise of three petrols and three diesels from the current Superb range, including a 125HP 1.4-liter TSI, a 260HP 3.6-liter V6 FSI plus the company's first common rail diesel, the 2.0 TDI CR with 175 horsepower. The engines will be coupled to manual gearboxes and optionally, to the VW Group's DSG twin-clutch transmission.

Skoda Introduced New Laura in Indian market

Skoda introduced new Laura in the Indian Market this month.It isthe effect of latest generation Skoda Octavia. Now, the Laura is in for another upgrade and this time the looks are a lot more butch and represent a more powerful design which is in sync with Skoda's latest design theme as can be seen on the Fabia and recently launched Superb models.

Skoda Laura comes with a varitey of colors and the interiors of the car look marvelous and its exterior part is with a rectangular cut-off design, a robust front grille that proudly carries the SkodaAuto emblem and a single moulded one piece bumper.The Skoda Laura is expected to come in three trim levels, namely the Classic, Ambiente and Elegance.

The company is going to launch the Skoda Laura with three engine options.

The first engine option is the 1.8TSI petrol and is capable of generating a 160 BHP and 250Nm of torque, this engine is truly a refined piece of work and will do wonders for those who are performance oriented and still want mileage. The 1.8TSI will most probably be mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox, which goes to show the sporty nature that this car will possess.

The second two options are both diesels. The 1.9 TDI PD makes a comeback on the new Laura. This tried and tested engine that develops 105 BHP and makes 250Nm of torque is a great drive and extremely efficient. The 1.9 TDI is expected to be available with two transmission options, namely a 5 speed manual and a 6 speed DSG automatic.

The other diesel option is a slightly larger 2.0 litre TDI PD engine that makes a generous 140 BHP and churns out a gut wrenching torque of 320 Nm. Again, this engine also does duty under the hood of the newly launched Superb and is expected to account for the top end of the Skoda Laura range. The 2.0 litre diesel will be mated to a 6 speed automatic DSG gearbox and performance is expected to be literally breathtaking.
