NEC has announced new cost effective eco-friendly desktop LCD monitor, NEC AccuSync AS231WM.NEC AccuSync AS231WM comes with 23-inch display with 1920*1080 full HD resolution.NEC AccuSync AS231WM consumes 50 percent less energy and contains 50 percent less mercury content than conventional monitors of the same size.

- 1000:1 contrast ratio
- 250 cd/m2 brightness
- A tilting stand
- Touch-integration capabilities.
The NEC AccuSync AS231WM green LCD monitor also provides stereo speakers, DVI-D with HDCP, and D-Sub ports.The NEC AccuSync AS231WM eco-friendly LCD monitor will be available in May with a price of $269.
