Intel has introduced Next Generation CULV chip to use 32nm tech

Intel has provide some information about its second generation Consumer Ultra Low Voltage platform(CULV)platform called Intel Celerom U3400,the dual core Arrandale 32nm-based chip will be rated at 1.06GHz and have an 18W Thermal Design Power. This is mainly mean for notebooks. The component used in this will have integerated 45nm graphics capable of being overclocked from 166MHz to 500MHz. The processor also has 2MB of cache and support for DDR3 800 memory. The Celeron U3400 is said to begin showing up in notebooks this fall. Unlike the Core i5 520UM, which has similar specs, the U3400 does not have 3MB of cache or a Turbo overclocking mode.

2011 Intel Atom Cedarview-Features and Releases

Intel inroduces new generation Atom Processors Called pinview which will form part of the new Pine Trail platform and Pineview processors. The next generation CPU in the Intel Atom line, “Cedarview” (going with trees again like Pineview), is expected to be made using the 32nm process and will be shipping out sometime in 2011 after the upcoming Pineview processors have done their time.CPU will be created on 32-nm process technology standards and become part of cost-effective platform Cedar Trail, and their integrated memory controller will support DDR3 1066.

But the most significant in the 32-nm chips Atom Cedarview should be a new graphics engine, which can support HD video, as well as technology, DirectX 10.1. In addition, the promised support for the format of Blu-ray, two displays, as well as interfaces LVDS, HDMI and DisplayPort. As you can see, looks very tempting, it is a pity, to wait for new processor Atom Cedarview have a long time. For accessible information, their release should take place only in 2011.
