Intel celebrated the first anniversary of its Atom processor by introducing two new processors in the lineup for Mobile Internet Devices (MID). And these new chips on the block are Intel Atom Z550 and Z515.
Anand Chandrasekhar, Intel senior vice president and general manager of the Ultra Mobility Group, unveiled the two processors while delivering the keynote where he also demoed live the next-generation Intel’s next-generation Atom-based MID platform (codenamed Moorestown) for the first time.
