Toshiba new Qosmio X500 laptop with Nvidia's GeForce GTX 460M Graphics

Toshiba has updated its Qosmio X500 18.4-inch laptop with  Nvidia's GeForce GTX 460M graphics card featuring DirectX 11 support. Mainly  Qosmio X500 laptops is built in for  games, media creation and HD entertainment. Toshiba's GTX 460M-enhanced Qosmio X500 starts at $1,299.99 and will be available as of September 26.

Toshiba new Qosmio X500 laptop features  Nvidia's GeForce GTX 460M graphics card featuring DirectX 11 support, 192 CUDA cores, a 192-bit memory interface and 1.5GB of GDDR5 VRAM.Beside the DirectX 11 card, Toshiba's machine has an LED-backlit keyboard, a Core i5 or i7 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, a DVD or Blu-ray drive, up to two HDDs or SSDs, harman/kardon speakers, a 5-in-1 card reader, an ExpressCard slot, and runs Windows 7 (Home Premium or Professional 64bit).

Running Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit, the Toshiba Libretto W100, which additionally boasts an accelerometer and which will happily take on the roll as a dual screen e-Reader, is mightily impressive on paper, certainly, but there is a fly in the ointment as battery life (a key factor for mobile devices such as this) will purportedly come in at a mere two hours using the standard battery pack or four hours when the high capacity battery pack is employed. And, lets face it, this is pretty poor by anyone’s standards and, as far as potential adopters are concerned, may well be a deal breaker.

Toshiba AC100 Android-based Ultra Slim netbook

Toshiba has introduced AC100 ultra slim smart companion which is known as the dynabook AZ in Japan. It runs Google Android 2.1 OS.The black and orange colored Toshiba AC100 sports NVDIA Tegra 250 1GHz mobile processor, 512MB of RAM and up to 32GB SSD. The clamshell device supports Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n as well as optional 3G mobile broadband. It comes with a 10.1-inch 1024×600 LED-backlit display and a 1.3 Megapixel webcam. Toshiba AC100 will be released in Q3 2010.

Toshiba has introduces the dynabook Qosmio DX/98M all-in-one desktop PC.This one is now having a new 21.5-inch PC, plus Full HD 1920×1080 LCD display. It gets an Intel’s Core i5-450M 2.4GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, Toshiba’s SuprsEngine Quad Core HD graphiYou can benefit from the built-in digital TV tuner with video recording capability and Onkyo’s sound engine. Among other characteristics there is also WiFi 802.11b/g/n, 1.3 Megapixel webcam, multi-in-one card reader, HDMI output and six USB 2.0 ports. Toshiba has introduced new multimedia notebook the Satellite A660 powered by Intel’s Core i3/i5/i7 processors up to 8 GB of RAM, and up to 640 GB hard drive.The Satellite A660 has a 16 inch screen with 1366 × 768 LED backlit screen and offers an HDMI output. Thoshiba introduces new stylish 64 GB high capacity NAND flash memory module.It's the highest capacity chip yet created and a potential fit for the next refresh of the Apple iPhone and iPod touch.As detailed on ZDNet sister site TechRepublic, the iPhone 3GS uses either a single 16GB or 32GB Toshiba NAND module. It’s likely that this new 64GB module will make its way into the next generation iPhone and iPod touch — enough for more than 1,000 hours of recorded music and almost 20 hours of standard definition (7Mbps) video.

Toshiba announces New Satellite Laptop Series

Toshiba is going to release a range of new Satellite laptops at the end of the month, some with multi-touch touchpads to the line.The company claims that it will be a energy efficient line. The 14.1-inch widescreen HD TruBrite LED Backlit display of M500 supports viewing HD 720p content at 1366x768 pixel resolution.

Satellite A500 is a premium model in the series. This notebook comes in Premier Black color chassis with Champagne Gold Patterns. Toshiba Satellite M500 comes packed with Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6500 with 4GB DDR2 800MHz memory, 320GB HDD 5400 RPM storage and dual-layer DVD-SuperMulti optical drive. The notebook runs on Windows Vista Home Premium (SP1, 64-bit), Satellite M500 features a hard drive 3D Motion Sensor which shuts it off in case of - free fall, shock or vibrations. The LCD cover comes with Toshiba Fusion Finish based on IMR (In-Mould Rolling) technology with a Sonic Boom AERO design.

Graphics support is given by AMD ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 chip. All have a 500GB hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and four USB ports that can charge connected devices when the laptop's powered down. One the USB slots also doubles up as an eSata port. The 14.1-inch widescreen HD TruBrite LED Backlit display of M500 supports viewing HD 720p content at 1366x768 pixel resolution.

Orange Launches New Smartphone from Toshiba

­Orange, Europe’s biggest mobile network operator is to release a touchscreen smartphone TG01 from Toshiba all over Europe .The company plans to release the new smartphone in different European countries in the following days. The phone is already launched in France last week and today in the UK .It will be available in Switzerland later this month and in Romania from August.

Toshiba TG01 comes with the widest high-definition touch-screens available on a mobile phone ie,a 4.1-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixel) touchscreen.Also it is the first device ever to have 1GHz processing power.Other features include HSDPA data, GPS, WiFi, a microSD slot, and custom Tosh 3D GUI which is very much user friendly.Orange promises their customers PC like power and a great multimedia experience from their smartphone.

The phone is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform and uses the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system.
