Acer is now coming with chromebook in the markets. New Acer chrome book comes with 11.6-inch display which is powered by Google chrome OS and Dual core Intel Atom processor. Acer chromebook will start up at only 8 seconds boot time with instant-on functionality and resume instantly. Google chrom web applications will run on Acer chromebook. Acer chromebook also features USB ports, webcam,WiFi , optional 3G, HDMI and up to 6.5 hour of battery backup.

Acer has introduce new Aspire series netbooks, two of this new series running with AMD’s Athlon II Neo range and two getting Intel’s Atom N475.Updated with AMD Athlon II Neo processors, the 11.6-inch Aspire One AO721 and the 10.1-inch Aspire One AO521 are designed to deliver high-definition graphics and video playback and smooth video communications that are not possible with other netbooks.The Aspire One AO721 and Aspire One AO521 utilize AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processors and ATI Radeon HD 4225 Graphics with 384MB of dedicated system memory for greater mobile performance than you might expect from a netbook. Users can vigorously multitask, even with visually-intense, high-definition applications, while freely exploring the Internet, sending and receiving emails, watching videos and playing games – all while untethered from a power outlet.

The Aspire One AO721 has a high-definition 11.6-inch CrystalBrite LED backlit display wrapped in a black matte, mesh-textured cover which limits fingerprints and smudging. Acer Olympics Edition Notebooks and LCD Displays

Acer is offering Olympic editions of the Aspire 1810T, 4810T, 1410 and the G245H LCD. All of the equipment has the special Acer Olympic logo on the lid and the palm rest area. The specifications of the Olympic edition notebooks are the same as the standard machines of the same model.

Acer has also announced that it will be providing 6,500 pieces of computing equipment to the Olympic games along with 100 engineers and technicians to support the management of the hardware for the Olympic games. Acer is providing the Olympic games with its Veriton 1000 and TravelMate 6592 computers along with other gear.

Acer announces new High-Definition Monitor

Acer has released its new high definition monitor. The new monitor has some noticeable changes from it’s predecessors in H235H series, the name given by Acer to it’s High definition range of monitors.

It has got a size of 23-inches with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and resolution of 1920 x 1080. It has got a contrast ratio of whopping 100000:1.The monitor has got touch sensitive spaces on its bezel to control on-screen display.The input ports are HDMA,VDI and DVI. The monitor has got a 160 degree viewing angle.

The Monitor has got built-in stereo speakers,ACM & ADM.The Monitor is set to be released in July

Acer introduce two ECO-friendly LCD Monitors

Acer has launched its new environment friendly LCD Monitors that are designed to reduce the power consumption.This eco-friendly focus allows you to have a nice display and feel comfortable in knowing the environment isn’t suffering because of it.These displays are named as the Acer V193WBbmd and the Acer V223WBbmd.PC Launches reports that the 19″ Acer V193WBbmd offers 1,440 × 900 resolution. However the 22″ Acer V223WBbmd offers 1,680 × 1,050 resolution. These models provide 5ms response time.Both models sport a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, a 5ms response time and a 300cd/m2 brightness The price of these two LCD'S is Acer V193WBbmd for $185 and the price of Acer V223WBbmd for $236.

Acer has launched it's new notebook Aspire 5536 powered by AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core processor. The notebook has AMD’s latest M780G chipset with ATI Radeon HD 4570 graphics high quality visual experience.

Acer's new AO751h netbooks

Acer introduces -cost netbook that comes with high performance and user experience of much more expensive laptop computers. With its 11.6-inch screen, compared to the usual 10-inch or smaller netbook display, this should be a pleasure to use.
The AO751h showcases the first-ever 11.6-inch widescreen on a netbook and houses a full-size keyboard that only the Samsung NC20 (21GBK) and the N120 (12GBK) have been able to pull off. More important, its $380 price is in line with the Asus eeePC 1000HE's.
The AO751h is likely to turn heads with the combination of an 11.6-inch widescreen, a 19-mm full-size keyboard, and a relatively inexpensive price. Since it houses a bigger screen, the resolution also gets bumped, from the drab 1,024 x 600 to a more desirable 1,366 x 768 resolution. The only netbooks that have higher resolutions than the AO751h are the Dell Inspiron Mini 12 and the Samsung NC20, which sport 1,280 x 800 resolutions and 12-inch widescreens.
