Samsung has unveils slimmer,smaller and more compact new Samsung SE-S084D external DVD writer.It uses single USB port for power and data in order to eliminate the need for an external power adapter and the device comes with a variety of speeds across varying media types such as 24X CD-ROM, 24X CD-RW, 8X DVD±R recording, 5X DVD-RAM recording, 8X DVD+R Dual Layer recording, 6X DVD-R Dual Layer recording, 8X DVD+RW recording and 6X DVD-RW recording. Additionally, the Samsung SE-S084D uses Buffer Under Run technology to prevent error when writing data.The SE-S084D DVD writer is available in seven colors.The SE-S084D is shipping later this week, priced at $70
