The Ford has announces the launch of its stylish Ford Modeo 2011 and all signs point to a debut at the Paris Motor Show this September. This new model comes with some outstanding exterior specifications and the basic shape hasn't be changed.Street New Cars have been out and about with their cameras to snap the updated Mondeo on the streets, and you can see that the fascia looks a lot like those used on the 2012 Focus and the current Fiesta. The front fog lamps have been remodeled, along with the front grille and upper section. The rear of the car has also had some work done, but it is that Eco Boost engine that will be of most interest to drivers. This will only be available in a 2.0-liter version and will be mated to Ford’s Powershift dual-clutch transmission. To improve fuel efficiency, the 2011 Mondeo features regenerative braking, an Eco Mode, and an Active Grille Shutter system. The latter device "regulates the airflow through the radiator and engine compartment to reduce aerodynamic drag, but also offers benefits to the engine heating characteristics to improve the fuel economy and warm-up performance in cold climates."
