MSI announced its new nForce 980 based motherboard NF980-G65 with power saving technology.Based on the nForce 980a SLI chipset (rebranded 780a SLI), the fresh ATX board has a 4+1 phase power design, APS (Active Phase Switching), support for AM3 processors, four DDR3-2133 memory slots, three PCI-Express x16 slots backed by an NF200 chip that provide 3-way SLI readiness, and DirectX 10 integrated graphics In addition, it also comes with a 7.1 channel audio, the Easy OC Switch and several connectivity ports including FireWire, six SATA 3.0 Gbps, Gigabit Ethernet, D-Sub, DVI and HDMI. The MSI NF980-G65 will retail for 140 Euro (about Rs 1000).
