Motorola Defy Rugged Android Smartphone- Features and Specifications

Motorola has introduced new rugged Android smartphone, Motorola DEFY with a wide variety of features including waterproof, dustproof and scratch resistant meeting the IP67 standard. The new Motorola defy also features 3.7-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen(INFO) display as is found on the DROID 2 (and MILESTONE 2), and manages to keep its thickness down to a relatively thin 13.4mm and supports  WCDMA/HSDPA 900/2100 and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks. It will be released in Q4..Motorola DEFY will run Android 2.1 as standard, however an update for FroYo is expected in the future. The OS should be pretty snappy thanks to its 800MHz Texas Instruments OMAP 3610 processor and its 512MB of RAM.
