Sony announced new series of Sony VAIO notebooks VAIO F, Y, Z.Main Features of this new Vio sereis notebook are , the VAIO F multimedia notebook, and VAIO Y and Z series ultraportables.The VAIO F features a 16.4-inch display, an Intel Core i7 quad-core processor, an NVIDIA GeForce dedicated graphics card, optional Blu-ray optical drive, and Windows Home Premium OS. The VAIO F Series will starts at around $1,000 and is available for pre-orders at Sony’s official website.The VAIO Y-series comes along with an Intel GS45 Express Chipset and Mobile Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics and the ultra-low voltage 1.3GHzIntel Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor . It comes with 13.3-inch LED Backlit display and is going to be priced starting from $800.Sony introduces the VAIO Z Series and the VAIO F Series multimedia notebooks at the CES 2010. The ultra portable VAIO Z features a 13.1-inch LED-backlight display and an optional Blu-ray Disc optical drive. It offers HDMI output and supports 3G Mobile Broadband technology provided by Verizon Wireless, WiFi and Bluetooth. The VAIO Z can be equipped with up to 512GB SSD.On the other hand, the 16.4-inch VAIO F Series comes with dedicated NVIDIA GeForce graphics. It is powered by Core i7 processor and comes with Blu-ray, HDMI and the TransferJet technology.
