2012 Toyota F8-86 - Features and Specifications

Toyota is going to launch Toyota F8-86 sporty, which is also called Subaru 0864 or Scion FT-86 in markets from the beginning of next year. Toyota was unveiled Toyota F8-86 concept in the Tokyo bound Motor show. For this new sporty vehicle, Toyota and Subaru have partnered to produce it. Toyota F8-86 features 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated flat-four engine with150 horsepower and 6 speed manual transmission.The engine will be combined with D-4S technology (direct injection combined with port injection) that will help increase the output and torque, but will deliver an impressive fuel consumption at the same time. The manual will offer quick and precise shifts with a short-throw, while the automatic transmission will feature sporty shifts controlled by steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifts.

The acceleration should really be fast; the official 0 to 60 numbers won’t become identified till this car finishes progress and it is readily available for street tests. The warranty more than likely will be 3 year/36,000 mile standard; 5 years/60,000 mile power train warranty; 5 years corrosion coverage.

2011 Toyota Highlander Hybrid | Features and Specifications

Toyota, the Japan based company has released official details,specification's and price of its much awaiting midsize sedan SUV,2011 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. 2011 Toyota Highlander Hybrid models features a more powerful 3.5-liter V6, which replaces the previous 3.3-liter V6 found on the current model. The 2011 Toyota Highlander gets styling revisions to its nose and tail and a slight cabin revamp. The 2011 Highlander Sport will nonetheless continue with subtle distinctions such as “smoked” exterior brightwork. And the 2011 Highlander Limited should again dress the part with chromed accents. The 2011 Toyota Highlander Hybrid will return with styling cues designed to signal its high-tech credentials, such as blue-tinted headlight and taillight lenses. Sport and Limited Highlanders have 19-inch alloy wheels.

Toyota launches Corolla Altis Disel in Indian Market

Toyota has introduces, diesel variant for one of its much stylish super-luxury sedan model, Toyotta Corolla Altis. The base model of this new category comes with an exciting prices of Rs 10.95 lakh and the price of the top end variant is Rs 13.75 lakh. The new Corolla Altis comes with a newly developed 1.4-liter D-4D common rail engine and its generates 88.4 PS and 205Nm of torque and is available in three different versions named D-4D, D-4D G and D-4D.The 1400 cc D-4D diesel motor in the Corolla Altis diesel produces 89 bhp at 3800 rpm and 20.9 kgm of torque at 1800-2800 rpm and with an impressive mileage of 21.43 km/litre. The colours available for the Corolla Altis diesel are: White Pearl Mica, Black Mica, Dark Red Mica Metallic, Super White II, Silver Mica Metallic, Light Blue Metallic, Champagne Mica Metallic.

Toyota unveils new Pirus Gsports Concept at Auto Salon Tokyo

Toyota has introduced its new stylish Concept model of its latest generation Pirus Hybrid.Bringing the conversion and tuning accessories market in-house, Toyota says the G Sports series is “designed for customers who strongly desire to own a unique vehicle, offering them a personalised interior and exterior design along with sports-driving performance”.The drivetrain of the Prius G Sports is unchanged, but the suspension is 30mm lower and the racy hybrid is pulled up quicker by bigger brakes.The new aero tweaks include enormous revisions to the front and rear bumpers, rear wheel covers, rear spoiler, carbon fibre mirrors, sideskirts, underbody work and a twin sports exhaust system.Daytime running LEDs and beefier alloys top off the changes outside, while inside the Prius scores a new dashboard, Recaro seats, leather steering wheel, aluminium pedals and G Sports badging on the gear stick and star button.G Sports sales will begin out of Toyota dealers in Japan from later this year.

Toyoto in 2011-Redisgned Sienna Minivan

Toyota is going to introduce te redesigned 2011 sienna minivan at the Los Angels Auto show.Toyota is now aming the new sienna at the new families that need more space than the tradional sedan or crossover can provide.The new Sienna will come in five grades, base, LE, XLE, Limited and the new "sporty" SE. The latter gets more aggressive looks with different side skirts, 19-inch alloy wheels, smoked lights, exclusive instrumentation and unique interior colors and trim plus a sportier tuned suspension.The all-new 2011 Sienna will begin arriving at Toyota's U.S. dealerships in February 2010.Also make sure you check out the 2011 Sienna's trick 16-inch LCD monitor for rear seat passengers and the reclining seats with extendable footrests, two features we've never seen in this segment before.

2010 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid

Toyota introduces its new Hybrid car Tayota Pirus - the first Toyota vehicle brand that uses a lithium-ion battery as the drive battery.And this new model has an amazing fuel economy of 50 mpg ie at least 55 Km to its name."That is real-world driving," Toyota’s national alternative-fuel vehicle manager in the U.S., Bill Reinert, revealed to Automotive News. "I ask my guys to drive them as you drive your normal Prius."

As for which model will be used for Toyota’s upcoming plug-in hybrid, company spokesman John Hanson explained that "it would make sense” to do it with a Prius but said any hybrid model is a possible candidate.

Toyota’s first mass produced plug-in hybrid is expected to on sale in 2010 but the company plans to start U.S. trials of 150 Prius plug-ins later this year. The vehicles will test several different lithium-ion battery designs that will be teamed with a 1.8L four-cylinder engine.

Toyota new 2010 Auris HSD Full Hybrid Cars-Features and Image Gallery

Toyota will unveil at the Frankfurt Motor Show the Auris HSD Full Hybrid based on their spin machine concept,while the production version will follow next year. The car will be built in the UK at the company’s Burnaston factory. Toyota hopes to have a hybrid version from 2020 to each of their models on the market.Even though the car can be driven either on petrol alone, or just electric, it can also run on a combination of the two. Unfortunately, the engine's power figures do leave quite a bit to be desired.

The petrol engine delivers 97 hp, while the electric motor powers alone for up to 1.25 miles (2km) at speeds up to 31mph, with zero fuel consumption and zero CO2 and particulates (PM) emissions.
Still, the CO2 emissions level of under 100 grams per kilometer is very respectable. The electric motor runs on a nickel-metal hydride battery, and it runs for 1.25 miles unassisted, at speeds up to about 30 mph.

The front and rear bumper corners have flat surfaces, a feature that not only accentuates the car’s wide and solid stance, but also smooths the flow of air over the vehicle’s flanks, minimizing turbulence and drag.
Toyota plans to put the Toyota Auris HSD Full Hybrid on the market sometime in the second half of 2010. The car will be built in the UK at the company's Burnaston factory, just outside of Derby. By 2020, Toyota hopes to have a hybrid version of each of their models on the market.
